‍Any address in a token-based DAO can delegate their voting power quickly and easily using the Aragon App. And, you can claim your voting power at any time. Test it out yourself using the instructions in the weekly highlight below!

How to delegate your voting power with the Aragon App

Any address in a token-based DAO on the Aragon App can delegate their voting power—there’s no need to enable delegation. Here’s how to delegate your vote!

1: From the Membership tab, click “Delegate”

‍From the DAO Dashboard, go to the Membership tab. Then, click “Delegate.”

‍2: Paste in the address you want to delegate to

You will need to have the address ready that you want to delegate to. When you do, paste it in here.

3: Click “delegate voting power” and sign a transaction

‍Click “Delegate voting power” and your wallet will appear, prompting you to sign a transaction.

How to claim your voting power

1: From the Membership tab, click the arrow next to your delegate’s address

Or, you can go to the governance tab and click “Delegate” to open the same flow.

2: This opens their profile. Click “Change delegation.”

You can delegate to another address, or claim your power. Claiming your voting power will assign it back to your wallet, so you can start voting again.
