It now costs less than 3 cents to launch a DAO on the Aragon App on Base, thanks to the recent Dencun upgrade to Ethereum! Actions across many L2s have signficantly lowered. Casting a vote is less than a cent, lowering the barrier to entry to DAO participation. Try launching a DAO on Base.

The Dencun Upgrade, an update to Ethereum that occurred yesterday, significantly lowers fees for interacting with many L2s. On the Aragon App, we saw major decreases in fees for deploying and managing your DAO on Base.
Cost to deploy a DAO before the upgrade: ~$5.00
Cost to deploy now: ~$0.03
Other actions, such as creating a proposal, voting, and executing actions, cost just cents—or even less than a cent.
