7 October 2022: Building the hyperstructure for governance
Aragon core teams publish strategy, ANT holders vote to terminate AN DAO charter and transfer its remaining treasury, Sign up for stakeholder consultations to give feedback on Aragon DAO
The Aragon core teams announced a strategy for Aragon to become a governance hyperstructure, published on Github. Core teams have been working towards this strategy and will continue to advance it as the organization transitions into the Aragon DAO.
Two votes wrapped up this week. One Aragon Voice vote determined that the AN DAO charter will be terminated 15 days after the new delegated voting DAO charter is enacted. The second vote determined that funds from the AN DAO treasuries will be sent to the Aragon treasury when the delegated voting DAO charter is enacted.

Highlight of the Week: Core teams publish strategy to create the hyperstructure for governance
What is the future of Aragon?
That’s what the strategy, published by core team members in this Github repo, seeks to answer.
The strategy details how Aragon can become a governance hyperstructure. A hyperstructure is infrastructure that runs forever without a core team having to maintain it, like the internet.
We believe it is inevitable that the hyperstructure of governance will be a permission management system.
This strategy proposes how Aragon can become the governance hyperstructure that reaches escape velocity.
By attracting both sides of the DAO market—the developers and the DAO builders—the flywheel effect of our governance hyperstructure can take off.
We aim to put synergistic tools in theirs hands :
For the devs: An OS that makes building integrations and plugins easy, flexible, and simple. This will be our updated modular and flexible aragonOS.
For the builders: The most human-centered and easy to use app for creating and managing DAOs. This will be our new Aragon App.
The plan maps out three horizons. First, getting big on the next 10,000 DAOs. Second, leading on governance security. Third, expanding use cases to traditional organizations.
