• Vocdoni launched their voting API and SDK, which makes it easy to integrate their voting protocol into any organization. Vocdoni seeks to bring secure digital voting technology to the world, and this is a major step in that direction! They also launched a new website with cool new branding. Check it out here.

• A DAO is account abstraction: that’s what we argue in our new educational piece explaining the concept. By adding layers of abstraction to a treasury, such as voting and parameters, a DAO manages a treasury without the burden or risk of a single person holding the keys. Account abstraction is a huge topic in the web3 space in light of the FTX fallout and the dire need for better UX for wallets and treasury management as assets move on-chain for safety. We’re excited to continue opening access to web3 technology and providing safer and more flexible storage of assets!

Highlight of the week: Introducing the Vocdoni API and SDK

Vocdoni is a secure voting protocol funded and built by Aragon that widens access to secure voting, both for web2 and web3 organizations. Their end-to-end verifiable, flexible voting system runs on VoChain, a custom blockchain built by their team.

• Flexible

• Anonymous

• Opensource

Some of the organizations using Vocdoni’s voting protocol include FC Barcelona and the town of Bellpuig, Spain.

This week, Vocdoni launched their new API and SDK, making it easy to integrate secure voting into your organization. In this SDK, you can create different voting mechanisms, such as quadratic voting, with just a few lines of code.

They also launched a developer portal and newly branded website. Vocdoni is laying the groundwork for an exciting 2023!

Vocdoni is distributing free tokens as part of their Beta phase, so organizations can test the stack for free. But, voting is entirely gasless, and always will be!
