July 2025: Cannes, Creating Value, and Coming To New Ecosystems
July was a big month for Aragon's ecosystem, with our first event dedicated to helping projects design for value accrual, major new initiatives with key partners, and new chain support for the stack.
TL;DR
Here’s a roundup of Aragon highlights from the past month:
Aragon launches on Corn & Chiliz: Full-stack support brings modular governance to Bitcoin-native DeFi on Corn and sports DAOs on Chiliz — expanding access to the Aragon App, OSx, and Value Accrual Toolkit.
New in the Aragon App: UX upgrades and streamlined proposal views make it easier than ever to navigate and operate modular onchain organizations.
Boundless launches The Signal: We’re proud supporters of The Signal, a ZK consensus client that makes Ethereum finality verifiable everywhere.
The eagle went pudgy
The CLARITY Act Gets Passed by the House: The Aragon Foundation joined the Decentralization Research Center and 50+ industry peers urging regulators to better define when a digital asset has met a threshold to justify its transition from security to commodity.
The Value Accrual Lab in Cannes: We hosted a hands-on, invite-only workshop in Cannes during EthCC (July 2), co-led with Curve, Aerodrome, Blockworks, and Trevee—guiding founders on tokenomics, incentive design, and building sustainable onchain value alignment.
Sharing insights on value accrual, access control, and the future of governance: From ETHGlobal to AltLayer’s (Re)fundamentals, StableSummit, Gocheto Finance, and more, Aragon leaders unpacked modular tokenomics, Ethereum governance primitives, and sustainable L2 liquidity for a global builder audience.
Hyperithm vaults go trustless with Aragon Guardians: Tokyo-Seoul asset manager Hyperithm now secures its Morpho vaults with Aragon, giving depositors transparent veto rights and a 3-day timelock for extra protection.
Lido’s Dual Governance—approved: LDO holders have approved Dual Governance: a dynamic timelock system giving stETH holders a say in the governance of Lido DAO. A huge milestone for user protection, and we’re proud to have Aragon at the core.
New Chains: Corn and Chiliz now available for Aragon OSx, Value Accrual Toolkit, and App
Our multichain journey has continued onward, with the launch of Aragon on two new networks over the past weeks: Corn and Chiliz. Corn, an EVM network built for Bitcoin-native DeFi (BTCFi), now supports the full Aragon stack, from our no-code app to the Value Accrual Toolkit, all powered by Aragon OSx. As Corn builds a modular ecosystem around sovereign finance and long-term coordination, Aragon provides the governance infrastructure to match: composable, transparent, and upgradeable. This integration empowers projects building on Corn to launch and govern their onchain organizations, all in alignment with Bitcoin’s ethos.
Similarly, Chiliz, the leading blockchain for sports and entertainment, is also now fully supported on the Aragon stack, enabling sports teams, leagues, and fan communities to launch onchain organizations, build incentive systems, and transparently govern themselves. This collaboration builds on Aragon's historic collaboration with FC Barcelona by bringing modular governance to the broader Chiliz sports ecosystem.
In addition to chain launches, last month saw a number of UX updates across the Aragon stack.
The Value Accrual Lab: A workshop on unlocking value accrual and growth through tokenomics

80+ decision makers, four in-depth workshops, one afternoon, and lots of alpha on designing better tokenomics for incentive alignment, protocol growth, and value accrual.
The Value Accrual Lab in Cannes proved a clear need across the industry for better support and guidance on designing tokenomics infrastructure that fundamentally contributes toward healthier ecosystems and project longevity.
